A single cube form rendered four times, each pass built around a completely different material: glossy injection-molded plastic (LEGO), rough cracked rock (Stone), translucent amber with a trapped ant, and a cracked eggshell revealing a glossy yolk. The exercise isn't about the shape it's a controlled study in how light behaves differently across plastic, stone, resin, and organic surfaces, all using the same base geometry so the material work is the only variable being tested. The kind of asset-material breakdown that translates directly into building a consistent visual language for in-game objects.
