Thirty seconds isn't enough to draw a person. That's exactly why it's useful. There isn't time to obsess over details or erase every uncertain line. You're forced to notice movement before anatomy, rhythm before perfection. The sketch becomes less about accuracy and more about attention. I think ideas work the same way. The first version shouldn't try to explain everything. It only needs to capture enough energy to survive until tomorrow. Most of my favourite work begins as something rushed, awkward and incomplete. Sometimes speed reveals truths that patience quietly edits away.
